The Digital Strategist will be responsible for designing and implementing digital media campaigns for a roster of clients in the classical music and performing arts worlds. Specific responsibilities will include the execution of client digital and creative media strategies, the management and meeting of client and stakeholder expectations, development of client brand image and voice, the creation of editorial calendars and project schedules, the design and production of owned media content, project management of client website builds and updates, writing and editing copy for use on online platforms, publishing content across platforms, and working to continually develop 21C’s network of creative partners.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in project management and/or content production, excellent writing abilities, experience in and an intuition for communication design, and a strong interest in the arts, specifically classical music. A knack for web development, social media management, data interpretation and analytics, and trends in technology is required. We are looking for a bright, organized, detail-oriented individual with one to two years of professional experience or equivalent. Familiarity with coding languages, photo/video editing programs, and fluency in one or more foreign languages are all pluses.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Digital Media Fellowship
(September through end of December (flexible) with a commitment of up to 25 hours per week)
The Digital Marketing and New Media Fellowship provides a unique opportunity for those interested in a career in the arts, design, and technology to receive a complete overview of the workings of a digital media department. The Fellow will assist division staff with the implementation of digital marketing and new media campaigns for a roster of leading classical artists. Specific responsibilities include publishing content to websites and social media platforms, working with e-newsletter platforms, drafting website and social media copy, and uploading images and videos to websites and social media. The position is available for a term of four months (September – December 2015).
The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills and a strong knowledge of classical music. A working familiarity with content management systems (especially WordPress) is preferred, as is experience with basic HTML and the Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of one or more foreign languages is a plus.

The fellowship program provides an opportunity for those interested in a career in the arts to receive a complete overview of the workings of a marketing and public relations organization, while being in touch with some of the most renowned figures in the cultural sphere. Fellows assist in several phases of operation within the company and work closely with members of the 21C Media Group team.
