Project Management Assistant
The Project Management Assistant will be responsible for working with account managers to implement and coordinate the logistics of public relations campaigns for a roster of clients. In addition to liaising with clients and their representatives to ensure a consistent and focused image, specific responsibilities include scheduling interviews, creating itineraries, managing the publicity materials and internal planning documents, publishing content to client web sites and social media pages, composing client reports, cultivating relationships with the media, and pitching stories. Some evening and weekend work can be expected to attend concerts and client-related events.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills, an acute attention to detail, and a strong interest in classical music and the performing arts. We are looking for a bright, organized individual who has excellent people skills, a knack for technology, and an understanding of popular social media platforms. Familiarity with the arts media landscape, Photoshop, video/audio editing, and fluency in one or more foreign languages are all pluses.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Digital Media Fellowship
(September through end of December (flexible) with a commitment of up to 25 hours per week)
The Digital Marketing and New Media Fellowship provides a unique opportunity for those interested in a career in the arts, design, and technology to receive a complete overview of the workings of a digital media department. The Fellow will assist division staff with the implementation of digital marketing and new media campaigns for a roster of leading classical artists. Specific responsibilities include publishing content to websites and social media platforms, working with e-newsletter platforms, drafting website and social media copy, and uploading images and videos to websites and social media. The position is available for a term of four months (September – December 2017).
The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills and a strong knowledge of classical music. A working familiarity with content management systems (especially WordPress) is preferred, as is experience with basic HTML and the Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of one or more foreign languages is a plus.

The fellowship program provides an opportunity for those interested in a career in the arts to receive a complete overview of the workings of a marketing and public relations organization, while being in touch with some of the most renowned figures in the cultural sphere. Fellows assist in several phases of operation within the company and work closely with members of the 21C Media Group team.
