Since joining 21C Media Group in 2007, Sean Michael Gross has played a principal role in directing the firm’s business strategy and has helped diversify the company’s services to reflect the ever-changing ways people access information. Mostly notably, he founded and currently oversees 21C’s digital media division. He also represents a number of high-profile artists and institutions on the 21C roster for press and public relations.
Clients he has been instrumental in bringing to 21C include Daniel Barenboim, Plácido Domingo, Gustavo Dudamel, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Yo-Yo Ma, Audra McDonald, Anna Netrebko, and Michael Tilson Thomas, among others. A frequent guest speaker on arts marketing and PR, he has lectured around the world at the invitation of organizations such as the League of American Orchestras, the Metropolitan Opera, and Midem. Before joining 21C Media Group, Sean worked in artist management at IMG Artists. A native of Los Angeles, he graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a degree in Music Business in 2005. In addition to music and the arts, he enjoys food, wine, travel, and other culture-rich experiences.
