Observer names 21C Media Group to “2024 PR Power List”

21C Media Group has been chosen as one of the five “Top PR Firms for the Performing Arts” in the Observer’s 2024 PR Power List. An annual ranking of the PR industry’s leading agencies, the list recognizes those “behind the most culturally significant trends, events and conversations in our world today.”

Of its decision to honor 21C, the Observer writes:
“Nearly every star in classical music, and most orchestras of significance, rely on this New York firm to keep their profiles a crescendo. Look no further than the Grammy Awards for a quick who’s who of 21C Media Group clients.”

Albert Imperato, 21C’s Founding Partner and Managing Director, responds:
“This recognition means a lot to us. We’re passionate about classical music and the performing arts, and it’s been a real privilege to work with such a remarkable group of artists and organizations for the past 24 years. We are very grateful to our clients, and to our colleagues in the media. It’s thanks to them that our journey continues to be so stimulating and rewarding.”

Long recognized as “a cutting-edge agency that helps artists develop all aspects of their careers” (New York Times), 21C is widely recognized as a leader in its field. Specializing in publicity and consulting in music, culture, and the performing arts, the company was also recently named one of Business Insider’s15 top boutique PR firms” and chosen by Forbes as the only performing arts firm in “America’s Best PR Agencies 2021.”

Since its founding in 2000 by Imperato, Jessica Lustig, and Glenn Petry, 21C has built an international roster of top-flight performing artists and organizations. Offering expertise in creative storytelling, career building and imaging, institutional strategy and branding, and digital media, the boutique agency’s services range from major news announcements and product launches to institutional consulting and cultural diplomacy. As the Observer reports:

“A year ago, the firm landed its first Executive Producer credit on the Paramount+ documentary, Last Song from Kabul, which profiles the nail-biting rescue of the Afghanistan National Institute of Music (a pro-bono 21C client since 2012) from the Taliban in 2021. 21C also worked with Apple Music to introduce the Apple Music Classical app to North America.”
