Trey Coudret

Public Relations Fellow

Trey Coudret is a versatile bassoonist based in New York City, experienced in orchestral music, chamber music, new music, session recordings, and musical theater. Trey is the bassoonist for Meredith Monk’s production of Indra’s Net at the Park Avenue Armory in fall 2024, and as a member of the Heller Bassoon Ensemble, Trey premiered works by Steve Reich, Julius Eastman, and Fay Victor at the Fridman Gallery in summer 2024.
Trey has also performed recently with the Westside Chamber Players, the Prime Street Woodwind Quintet, the Richmond County Orchestra, the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra, the Bergen Symphony Orchestra, the Mannes Sounds Festival, the Fiveplay Woodwind Quintet, the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Program, and JWM: A Theatrical Company’s production of My Fair Lady on the River, which was nominated for six BroadwayWorld Awards in 2023. Trey studied at the Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival at The Juilliard School in 2023 and the Monteux School & Music Festival in 2022. Trey holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University Steinhardt where he studied under Marc Goldberg, and he is a master’s degree candidate at Mannes School of Music in the studio of Rebekah Heller.
